I posted this a bit back in another forum here, maybe you can help me with this question:

I bought a transparent top (ebay used) for my 2006 C6 and the top when I received it had small scratches on it? How can I get these removed or fixed?

thanks - Art

Hello Art,

Thanks for the question and sorry to hear about the scratches on your top, a bummer indeed! What methods, if any, have you tried to remove the scratches so far? Also, can you feel the scratches with your fingernail? Obviously, the deeper the scratch, the harder it will be to remove it. If the scratches are on the lighter side, we may be able to reduce the visibility of them.

Thanks again Art and we look forward to hearing back from you!

Sincerely,

-Dale

Thanks for the response Dale, the scratches are very small and I can barely feel them, at the right angle in the sun you can see them. I have tried just waxing it? Didn't know what was best, figured seeing it was part of exterior of car wax wouldn't hurt? What you think? Art

Art,

The wax will not hurt a thing, but at the same time will not improve your situation too much. We offer a product called Swirl & Haze Remover (http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-97-swirl-haze-remover-12oz.aspx) and what the S&HR does is it helps to breakdown the depth of light scratches and imperfections. On glass, it will help to remove light blemishes and acid rains spots. Without actually seeing the scratches, it is hard to determine whether or not the Swirl & Haze will help.

Tell you what Art, please email me at dale@adamspolishes.com with your full-name and shipping address and I will send you a small bottle of the Swirl and Haze to try out. Sound good?

Thanks again Art, I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully helping you out!
