I ordered the Invisicord for my Escort 9500ix and the connections are supposed to be easy, I need to remove the connector that plugs into the mirror. I am afraid to pull on it with pliers for fear of breaking it or pulling out the wires. What is the best way of going about this?

Also, I ordered my invisicord from Invisicord.com. And the directions are very weak! How do I go about installing this in the C5?

on my factory mirror, there was a tab that needed moved to unlock the connector. The unusual part about it was that the tab is not located on the plug (that's a part of the wiring harness)... instead it's a part of the jack that is mounted on the mirror itself:

You need to flex the tab away from the plug (opposite direction the white arrow is pointing).
