I love going through the post here in the morning with my coffee and was wondering how many of you out there are religious about your Starbucks? LOL this is like life support for me in the mornings! ;)

I need my 2 cups in the morning to function. Actually I am working my second cup as I type this!

I agree, I need some sort of caffeine before I am operational. I usually have one cup before the commute, stop at Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts on the way to work, and then another cup in the afternoon. I'm a wreck if I don't get my coffee.

Ditto! You're not alone. I especially like the South American Bold.
BTW- They have a Christmas Blend for the Holiday's and that's pretty good too!
Salute!

Yes, coffee...especially if near Starbucks, a triple grande dry cappuccino is required to get the day going properly. As for their blends, Gold Coast is one of my favorites...and since it 'tis the season, a bag of Christmas blend sits right next to the grinder at this very moment.

Their blends seem to stay consistant, which I find important...and can be a little more difficult for the smaller companies...

We also have a local beanery(Bongo Java) I support with great blends such as Harvest Moon, Made in the Shade, and Mystic Brew...

So what are some of your favorite blends?,...and whom do you buy from most often?....

I'm no coffee snob(yes sir...I'll drink Folgers as long as it's hot and strong...LOL), but I do have my favorites....
Any of you try Peet's. I have some friends out in California that swear it's some of the best coffee around...

I will not dring Starbucks anymore, I just found out that when the Marines over seas asked Starbucks if they could send over some of their coffee because they loved it, Starbucks replied that they do not support the was or anyone fighting it and that they will not be sending over any product!!!! This is obviously not a popular war, but the men and women fighting in it have no choice, they are just following orders.

:( Jeez, that's aweful.... That's bad enough to make me have second thoughts about dropping into another Fourbucks....
Sometimes things such as this make me wonder what the world is coming to.... That's really disappointing news....

During winter months I find myself drinking or sipping on a cup of coffee all day, during warmer weather just a cup or two in the morning. :p

Hi Greg,
I am not trying to stir up a hornets nest here, but my daughter actually works for Starbucks in Los Angelas, and she said that they send coffee over there for them, she instituted the program at the one she works at, and got full support from all the managers, so maybe it is the individual starbucks that choose not to participate? I am not sure, but believe they are franchised out, and that may be where the differences are? I just asked her about it yesterday after your post, and she said they are sending it over there regularly!
 Laura

I'm a true believer that one of the main ingredients in the lattes is crack cocaine - I just can't get enough!

Ummm....yes....I'm an absolute addict! Love my starbucks...2 a day. BTW for those who didn't know Peets is actually where Starbucks started. It was the same company and starbucks branched off. So I assume the coffee would be very similar at both places.
