How do you remove the digital climate control panel?

1. remove the arm rest (four torx 15 bolts)

2. remove the traction control panel (pops off) there are two 10mm nuts holding the main console down. remove these nuts. also disconnect the arm rest cig lighter wires.

3. remove the small vent-looking-thing next to the ignition key, there's a torx 15 screw behind it, remove this too)

4. there are 2-3 torx 15 screws in the ash tray (it's been so long since i've had them I don't remember how many)

5. Yank the E-brake back and gently pull the main console up until it clears the rest of the arm rest piece. you should be able to remove the center console piece and lay it to the side.

6. there are two 7mm bolts that hold the HVAC control panel to the sub frame.

For those of us who need pictures (like me), follow these instructions (http://www.vetteessentials.com/instructions/ebrake/brake_h_b.html) all the way down to 3f. Getting the HVAC unit out of the dash should be very simple after that.
