I have a 1972 C3 with faded paint are there any products that will revive the color? Its kind of whiteish color to the paint?

Hello and thanks for being the first Detailing question int this new forum! I've got a question before answering yours: Is the paint original, and have you tried any products thus far? Thanks very much, and we hope to get a solution to you shortly.

Cheers, Adam

Hello and thanks for the question!

Is the paint original or re-spray? Typically on older paint, you want to use a good polish to help restore the color and luster to the finish. Getting single stage paint back to perfect is actually easier than working with a clear coat finish. We have a product called Revive Polish and it is excellent for removing oxidation and haze from your C3 finish. For more information on our Revive Polish, check out this link: http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-87-revive-polish-12oz.aspx.

Thanks and please let us know if you have any additional questions!

What do you guys recommend for the plastic fog lights? Mine have some scratches and little marks in it?

Hi Adam, the paint I think is original. I just recently bought the car. But it looks like its been on the car for very long time. Only thing I have tried is some "2000" wax that I got at the auto parts store? All it did on my test area is make it look "flat" wet.

rallydriver,

Thanks for your questions and interest in Adam's Polishes. First off, what year, make, and model is the vehicle your fog lights are on? Thanks and we will get back with you with a solution!

Thanks-
