I think the throttle body size is about the same. Going to check on that with a buddy and get back with you.

The answer is, No difference. They are the same. I figured why bother changing the TB. The LS6 one was already on the intake and it was newer. Thats the only reason its on my 99.

I have an LS6 TB on my LS1 only because my friend gave me the intake and TB off of his 2004 Z06. I got all excited thinking I had something really cool. You know, a cool combo. I did a lot of research and they are the same.

The intake on the otherhand. Thats great. Unless your car is 01-04Then you already have that intake.

97-00 have my old intake with 345HP. 01-04 have LS6 intakes w/350HP.:)

:iagree: Exactly the same TB's. If you wanted to upsize things I would put on an LS2 intake with the 90mm TB. You will need a conversion harness for the TB, a MAP Sensor extension harness, and different o-rings for the manifold end of the fuel injectors but that's it. Plug & play ready. Or you could just get the LS2 injectors and reprogram the PCM for them.
