I have an 04/C5 with 14,000 miles.
The wheels are perfect. However, I notice that three of the wheels have the weights on the outside.
Question. Can these weights be removed and re-located on the inside with the same weight amount without rebalancing?
And will there be any marks on the wheels where the old ones were removed?

I would have them rebalanced, and they can calibrate the machine to add then on the inside as to be out of sight.:thumbsup3:

The longer they stay on the outside of the wheel the more damage is done (cosmetic)

Don't you have to use the stickon weights if you put them on the inside?

I would buy stickon weights and take them with me to have them balanced. You can buy those off of internet, would probably take wheels off and clean each one with alcohol on inside to make sure they stuck good, because tire shop wont clean them good enough to make them stick as they should

Thanks for the response.
I checked with my tire shop here and they do have this type of equipment along with no touch tire change machines. They also state they can install clamp type balancing weights on the inside as well as the sticky type.
Thanks again, I learned a lot here.
