Hey guys, I am about to commit to building a freak of nature in order to give my car the drivetrain it deserves.


Basically a little history. I own an 06 Mitsu Eclipse GT, 3.8L v6. Stock we dyno around 210-220 on a mustang dyno. I am sitting at 288whp and 270 lb-ft, from bolt ons, all motor. So at the power I am at, being FWD, my first 2 gears are useless in 1/4 mile. I am trapping 106-107mph (not insane, but decent for an all motor v6.) but still only pulling a 14.0 ET, slower than my 13.9@99mph stock. This is because of my glorious FWD.

I'm not here to show boat or argue or pick fights with you guys. I know all to well the badassness of the LS motors, and the potency of the corvette in all fields of racing.

What my intention is, is to learn as much aout the c5 driveline as possible, my intent is using a c5 rear transaxle and suspension with a custom drive shaft, while turning my motor the proper direction.

Just here to fill in some little details and maybe hook up with people that have swapped it into other cars.

But once I get the swap done, and the motor finished, then we can talk **** if you guys woud like.:)
