: Little squeek from serpintine belt

It doesn't look warn at all, I can only twist it maybe a quarter of a circle so I think that it is still taut. It just squeeks when I take off. Maybe there is some wetness on it?

Sometiimes they have been known to make a bit of noise when it is cold.

Is this when the belt gets shiney and just doesn't grab like it used to?

I just had to replace all four of my idler pulleys, got quiet again....

I was referring to the pulleys, but yes a belt will di the same thing..

Try goodyear gatorback belts. They are nice and quiet

I think i'm going to have to replace one of my idler pulleys. It's making a little noise (that probably nobody but me notices). Did you do it yourself or have it done by a mechanic?
