Hi I'm New To The Site. I Own A 2006 Coupe White And It Is All Worth The Money I Paid For It. I Have A Little Issue That I Keep Going Back And Forth On. I Was Going To Get A Body Kit For The Vette But As I Started Shopping Around, I Was More Impressed With The Z06 Look Because It Was Just Simple But Looks More "meaner" I Guess. I Also Plan On Putting A Procharger In It But My Car Only Has 7000 Miles And It Is Still Under Warranty. My Plan Was To Work On The Body First Then The Engine. What Do Others Suggests? Is Making My Coupe Look Like A Z06 Too "wannabe-ish"?

Several have done the "looks" conversion, but I've always been partial to doing the mechanical first, so any oil spills, stains, or mistakes can be covered up later when you go for looks. But I know lots of people do it the other way. I've also seen those people run out of money doing looks, then don't have the "go" to back it up.

And it's a sad day when a Mustang beats you thinking he took down a new Z06! :eek:

that is so true. thanks for the advice. i guess i just have to calculate the prices for body upgrade and engine and see what i could afford withing the next 6 months.

I did cosmetics before motor and have no regrets except I still want more power. Just don't put any Z06 badging on the car. That's a no no!!!:cheers:
