Well, I'm Jeremy. I own a 98 c5 auto. Had it a year this past October. So far I've blown a head gasket, replaced the heads, went through the whole electrical nightmare with the headlights, the HVAC, the radio lights, replaced a seat, new window gaskets...all the fun stuff. Then when I had it all fixed, an 18 wheeler had a blow out in fron of me and there went the whole front end. So I took it upon myself to do a little customizing. Not much, but enough. It is now charcoal gray instead of silver. I lowered it 1.5 inches and put 18" wheels in front, and 20's in the back. I've driven it from Louisiana to Pennsylvania and back to La. in 3 days and it didn't disappoint at all. It is comfortable on long trips and it gets 30 mpg. Out of the 13 months that i've owned it, it's been in the shop for 8 months and I've still put 18,000 miles on it. Anyways, this is my first Chevy and I was kinda wondering...why do I like this car so much?:thud: Oh yeah...I just lost 3rd gear and O.D. today. This car will be new again by the time I finish with it.:DeadHorse:

Man if you didn't have bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all. Your car wasn't in the floods by any chance was it. Sounds like you have it pretty much rebuilt so you shouldn't have much more to do. It is a Chevrolet but more than that it is a Corvette. You will never be sorry for owning one. I'm on number three and if I live long enough I will have three more. Good Luck! :thumbsup3: HUTCH
