I posted this in the C6 section also:

Anyone running these on a stock C6? I was told these are now available and I would like to know what you think about them, compared to the Goodyear run flats?

From what I heard they are much better ride comfort than the Good Years, the thread I was reading was saying that they where pricey (I think $525 per tire???).

The thread was read here about 1-2 months ago.

I like Michelin as a company much better than Good Year. So my vote is for Michelin :thumbsup3:

I just got off the phone with Discount tires in Vacaville. They said the Michelin ZP (zero pressure) tire for the front of my car (17") were $238.00 each---------$546.00 for both mounted.... About ~40% cheaper than the Goodyear F-1s and he agreed that it is a better tire all-a-round. Now, to run-flat or not to run-flat----------That is the question.

Ya know, after reading what everyone was saying about the Nitto's tires, I was ready to buy them. They are alot cheaper and I agree the road sound and handeling is propably better. But, after talking to the tire guy at Discount tire (that has a lot of experience with corvettes), I had to give it MORE thought:banghead: I don't race my car... (I do like to step-on-it though). I will do the 1/4 mile sometime... I do have AAA, a compressor and fix-a-flat---------But I think the piece-of-mind factor has to play in it for me. If I'm out on a "Less traveled road" and had a blow-out, my fix-a-flat wouldn't work & maybe my cell phone wouldn't either......and let's not forget, my wife feels more secure knowing we can drive with a flat on the zero-pressure tires. Michelins, better than the G.Y.'s, but, not as good as the Nitto's. The compromise sound OK to me.:burnout: :yay: :thumbsup3:
