Hi guys, new here and have a problem with the brake lights on my 1977 Corvette not coming on? I have checked all the bulbs, actually I have even replaced all the bulbs, I have checked the fuse and even replaced that. And still when you step on the brake the brake lights don't come on? I am absolutely clueless at this point and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Do our rear turnsignal work? If so, your brake light prob could be your brake light switch.

Turn signals do work? Where is the brake light switch located at? Thanks MeE80C3

Look on the brake pedle shaft. The switch should be mounted where it will make contact with it. Make sure that the wiring is hooked up and the button on the switch is making contact with the shaft. If you disconect the wiring and put in a jumper wire across the contacts of the plug, you should see your brake lights come on. If they do come on, then the prob is in the switch.
Hope this helps.
