Retractable head lights on 03 convert. do not open automatically in cold weather, must use light switch to turn on and open. In warm weather works fine. Any ideas???

I can honestly say that I haven't a clue! I've been sitting here thinking about it too! :confused:

Someone didn't turn off the Twilight Sentinel option and not tell you? I would check that first.

Nothing happens under the right conditions i.e. in the garage or when it's dark out? The interior lights don't dim, IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster = Speedo and Tach) doesn't light up, DRLs turn off?? Check those if you can and post back, that would help to narrow it down.... maybe! :D

For the headlights not to activate, the ambient light sensor (top dash vent, left side) is not recognizing outside light levels correctly, but only when it's cold huh? I wonder if it's getting condensation due to the defrosters causing it to act up...
