Anybody have any experience with Eibach or LG adjustable remote reservoir shocks on C6 Z06? Over stock Z06 shocks worth it?

You may want to consider the Pfadt coil overs. I think it was southercarparts.com or WCC (forgot) that they were on sale for $1695? Not a bad deal. Don't have them myself but have read alot of good about them. The Eibachs I think are doing something these days with Callaway. I think last month I read an article or add where i showed Callaway and Eibach. I personally would go with Eibach or Pfadt.

Coil overs are great for road racing. They make a tremendous difference.

For the street use, don't bother.

Pfadt are good mid level coil overs. Most serious racers go with Moton or equiv. They aren't cheap about $4,000. If your doing coil overs, you really need to be prepared to change out brakes and tires or you're not going to get the results you want (Brembo GTs, Michelin Pilot Sport Cups-R compound tires).

On a road track those upgrades will reduce laps times more than hp gains.

My set up has Motons and T1 bars. Notice how flat my car stays coming out of a turn. Very little body roll. I also have the car lowered and corner weighted, which goes along with the coil over install.

Tom you know if Michelin Pilot Sport Cups-R come in Z06 sizes?

I'm pretty certain they do. Go to the tire rack's site and they will list all the sizes. Or you can call them.

PS. If you ever decide you want a separate set of racing rims, CCW makes excellent affordable rims(talk to John). The Corsair's are a great track rim. Fikse are the best for track use and also about 2x the cost.

CCW can sell you the rims and the tires(will match Tire Rack's price). Pilot Sport Cups are great track tires, but will last about 6,000 miles. I don't run mine for long trips on the street obviously.

For whatever it's worth, racing slicks get chewed up even faster!

Just ordered the Eibachs, you guys realize Callaway has their engineering hands on these things? To strong names one product, way cool.

That is one sick looking Z you have there Tom!! I would love to take that for a spin but I would be afraid of crashing it as it looks like you have a ton of $ in it to make it what it is now!!

Whats the price on these and also how much work is it to "dismantle" the factory leaf spring? Are these light duty coils or what are the specs on those please? Thanks!

The factory leaf springs are easy take out of the corvette. The Coilovers are made for the street and the track. I would have to tell you after testing with some other brands. KW coilovers are alot better. Please if anyone has questions feel free to ask.

Just curious are coilovers easy to install or professional need to?

Thanks. I had a ton of fun racing it weekly last summer, but RR is very tough on the car and the engine as it's FI. Plus, most importantly I wanted to be in a full caged car as I was getting more seat time and pushing the car more.

I'm building a NA track only car which I will use instead this year. The grey monster will be confined to street use.

Should be pretty straight forward if you are handy in the garage.
