Hello
Running a high mile engine at 4500rpms for a long time wont be good for it, It will help remove some carbon deposits but if the motor blows up it really wont mater. Just add a good fuel cleaner to your gas and drive it like you normally would
and it will live a long life, Mite burn a little oil but thats O.K. it old and tired. Don't kill it.

:iagree: On a high mileage car I would just put some fuel injector cleaner in the tank. That should get some of it out.
