Purchased a used '94 convertible, and discovered the PKE system was not working, tried to program the PKE system according to the Manual, but to no avail! Changed batteries in the transmitter, still no luck! Before I end up going to a dealer and incur expensive charges, does anyone have any experience to guide me in this endeavor? What could be wrong? Is it just user ignorance? What is the most likely and inexpensive repair?

Received several responses from another forum and after following all the programming advice, ended up purchasing another FOB from eBay and the new FOB works just fine.
