Hello from Las Vegas

We would like to thank Greg at Smokin' Vette for the invitation to join the Smokin' Vette website. We Corvette club in Las Vegas with about 100 members. Sixty percent of our members are under 50.

Our offical meetings are once a month (third Thursday) and they only last one hour. We are a active group with members as far away as the state of Washington and many members from California.

Our club does regular drag racing and autocross events at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. All members of Smokin' Vettes are welcome to join us!

We are a proud member of WSCC and have been selected ot host the 2009 WSCC convention which is going to be held in Las Vegas May 7th - 9th. Some of the activities will include a car show on Fremont Street, Drag Racing, Autocross, High Speed Go-cart racing, rallyes, and a miniature golf tournament. You do not have to be a member of WSCC to participate and there is no cost penalty to join the fun. More information on this event will be coming soon.

We're doing a Death Valley Run next weekend and touring Scott's Castle. If you live in Vegas you can drive up and back the same day. There is a group of us staying at Beatty for $54 per night and drving back the next day.

We will be at Cars and Coffee this Saturday, February 21st. If you haven't been before it's at 9500 S Eastern Ave in the Sansone Park Place shopping center (215 and Eastern).

Our monthly meeting is this Thursday (Nov 19th) at the Las Vegas Hilton. We meet at the back of the buffet dinning area. The Hilton gives our members a special rate which includes all the beer and wine you can drink for about $14 per person. You do not have to buy dinner to attend the meeting. We have a couple events coming up in December and elections for next year's board. Stop on by...we're friendly!

Also Hot Nevada Vettes is hosting the 2010 WSCC Convention in Las Vegas. Last year we had 211 Corvettes attend and we're expecting a larger number this year. We've negotiated for a low, suite, room rate of only $49 per night

i just got my 1987 corvette last week did not know their was a club cool i dono if i would show off my car tho lol since she needs work in the in side of the car need the hole in side done no carpet and need cluster repair and no door panels
