I know I should be working. No can do, its Friday! I'm looking at putting some new power in my LS7 (2006) and trying to see what all I will need. Any ideas on how much power the stock clutch in these things can handle?

I know how you feel! I'm almost outta work!

As far as I've heard (and I'm sure some the pro's will chime in soon) the stock Z06 clutch is good for at least 600 hp. I know there's several Z06's with superchargers on stock clutches here in NM. Both C5 and C6...and the C6 should be even MORE better! :D

Of course at the drags my clutch was really starting to smell, but I don't know if it's stock or not (suspect it is), or how many miles on it. For drag racing you'll certainly want to step up if you're putting any extra power down (and I'm assuming right now that my car is putting down about the same RWHP as a stock C6-Z06...450-ish).

I don't see myself trying to get over 600HP! I'm just looking to add 50-100 and happen to be looking at a clutch that day so figured I would ask the question!
