: United States Presidential Election 2008
Harbor Master 11-04-2008, 03:48 AM It is 0700 hrs. Tuesday November 4th 2008. United States registered voters are at their voting places ready to vote and chose the next President for The United States of America. How wonderful it is to live in a country like the USA. We have watched, read, listened, debated, and at times argued about this election. People of all ages, races, religions, and political beliefs will exercise their constitutional right to vote today. The next President be it Barak Obama or John McCain face some of the most monumental, influential, challenges in the history of our country. When our new President takes office we must rally behind him and support him no matter which candidate it is. We will have to set aside our political differences and all work towards solutions to our countries problems. The rich, the middle income, and yes the poor of this country are being negatively impacted by what is going on in our country and the world. Issues of monumental magnitude have to be addressed and brought to successful conclusion to benefit all people no matter who they are. When it is all said and done we all have to continue to strive for a better United States of America. I know my views will not be popular with some, but I believe they have merit and I am genuine in my intent to support them. Please exercise your Constitutional right and vote today for the candidate of your choosing. God Bless America :thumbsup3: HUTCH

Sorry Hutch I can not and will not stand behind somebody who will not stand behind his country. During the clinton years I took my flag down, If Obama wins I will fly it at half mast because the whole country will in mourning.
Vettebigguy 11-04-2008, 09:12 AM Gee, Hitch, I'm afarid I have to agree with Sting75Ray...I know I have no say, as being from Canada, but my son is in Afghanistan right now, he is a Tank Commander in the Canadian Army, and my wife and I are very proud of him. It seems here in Canada, we don't want anything to do with out side challenges...you are right, we have to start taking care of our selves, but we must also make it safe so we can take care of our selves. I know the huge challenge that is going on in the midddle east is very contentious, but to be honest, I'd rather have it over there than here. Also , we may not agree with what is going on, but we MUST support the boys, be it American, Canadian ,British, Australian...and with that we must supoort the candidate who will give them the support and equipment needed to get the job done. Loyalty to the Commander in Chief is paramount , and if not it creates anarchy and we can't have that , so choose well, my friends...
Vettebigguy 11-04-2008, 09:13 AM HUTCH, not Hitch....fat fingers !! sorry , Mate..

When Clinton was in office, Charlton Heston was President of the NRA. Every one of my vehicles had a bumper sticker that read CHARLTON HESTON IS MY PRESIDENT:cheers:
DynamicTuningSolutions 11-04-2008, 09:36 PM All I hear when I hear the Obamination is "I am here to take away everything you worked for".
I voted, I get to complain...
Eurorod 11-05-2008, 03:27 AM I fear for this nation's future. Not economically, but socially. BO pretends to be an American, but he's a pretender. He is a Socialist. Period. And will attempt to lead this counrty down the path of Marxism. He has the Senate, Congress, and media in his back pocket. Hold on to your wallet and your guns. It will be much worse before it gets any better. This country's Founding Fathers must be turning over in their graves.

The people of the great State of Virginia. The site of the first permanent European settlement in North America at Jamestown in 1607. One of the original thirteen states, it saw the British surrender at Yorktown in 1781 to end the American Revolution, as well as many Civil War battles.
The people of the above described State in the majority voted for Barak Obama for Prisident. Not the norm for the people of Virginia to vote this way. But the results are in and and the people have spoken. IT appears you are in the minority and will have to find a way to manage that position. May I offer, if the smell is more than you can manage, you may consider a country that smells more to your liking. Forgive my facetious statement as I agree it inappropriate. Be patient and try the air quality in six to twelve months. :thumbsup3: HUTCH
04VaVette 11-06-2008, 04:15 AM Thanks for the history lesson and by the way if you want to get personal, Go ***** yourself. Its OK for you to express your opinion so I expressed mine.
I can not and will not stand behind somebody who will not stand behind his country. I did my time in the Military and I voted so I am entitled to my own opinion.

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree: :iagree: Obama is nothing but a piece of S**T. When the next 9/11 hits where do you think he will be? He will run with his tail stuck between his legs. At least then he can say he has something there because he **** sure has no BALLS. The SOB could die and go to H**L tomorrow for all I care.
Eurorod 11-20-2008, 03:25 AM Well, it's been 16 days since the election, and just about everything has gone in the crapper. I think the world is realizing that the US has taken a hugh step toward socialism, and under BO, we will no longer be the strongest nation on the planet. Nor will we be an economical viable force anymore. Can't wait to see how thing are in a year or so. Can't say we weren't warned. It's the simple fact that most of the population in America is stuuuupid!
eeocarguy 11-28-2008, 01:45 PM I have a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on my Dodge truck...I could have been ticked for 70 in a 65 if the cop had been chickenpoopy but he let me off with a warning, saying I and he have it rough enough!
