I just recently got a '98 vette. When i first got the car the running lights and front turn signals didn't work, i thought the bulbs needed replaced. then they started to work. Now they come on and off when they feel like it. I think the wires are loose, i just don't know where to locate these wires. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Also my car has dual climate control, but the passenger side stopped working, any advice?

What stopped working on the passenger side? Is it just the AC that stopped working or does the heat not work either?
As far as the bulbs not working did you check the connections in the sockets? Sometimes if moisture has gotten in there that can cause them to go off and on. I would check the sockets and try to clean them(or replace the sockets). Although, when they go out do both sides stop working or just one side?

The passenger side still blows out hot/cold air but the passenger has no control. they go out individually, but right now they are both out.

If the bulbs go out individually I would then still try checking the sockets. As far as the climate controll not working on the passenger side then I would guess that it is a problem with the HVAC unit. My guess would be then to try to buy a used HVAC and replace it and see if that solves the problem!

What do you mean they both go out? The hot and cold are both out on the Pass. side, or the Driver and Pass are both not working?
Check under the battery tray and make sure a battery leak has not affected any of the vaccume lines under there.
It's possible that your passenger actuator door has developed artifical life. You could try to reset the actuator door, remove HVAC CON MiniFuse® #27 from the Instrument Panel Electrical Center and then reinstalling the fuse. When the HVAC Control Assembly is connected back to power, the system will perform an initialization routine lasting approximately 60 seconds. During this routine, both RH and LH electric actuators will cycle full travel in both directions learning the end positions.
Check the actuator connections for a loose connection.

Good Suggestions!!!
Check to see if the 4-Ways function properly when you loose the turn signals. This would isolate some of the circuitry.
Alarm (keyless entry feature) function properly when this happens? There’s a module to flash the DRLs and it might have an intermittent short.
Also are you showing any codes? Check em it MIGHT be possible that you’ll have one for the Ambient light sensor.
Check/Clean your grounds for the Turn/DRLs, you’re looking for ground 102. It’s located forward of the engine on the top of the passenger side frame near the radiator.
