I need a manual for this thing? Any idea who has the best one? I know on other cars you can get book or on a CD. I have not used either so don't know. I think the book would be more convinent, but thought CD version may have more info in it? you got me

I just bought a 1984 C4 with very high miles and plan to work on the car all winter to get it ready for next summer. If know of any other links or resources for working on this car I would appreciate that. Books, diagrams, etc...
thanks

For my money the GM Shop Manuals are the best, most detail, most info. You can pick these up used online for about $50.
I have also used the AllData online http://www.alldatadiy.com/ it is great for upadtes, replacement parts, TSBs etc. But does not give you much detail in "how to" terms.
Check out the Corvette Fever website and a few other forums as well. there is a wealth of info out there on C4s. You just need to search a little.

Get you a Helms FSM. Make sure it is the one in red and they also give you an electrical insert for it. Go to www.helminc.com.
