Time to hear the turbo's spool.

I picked up a HP style Performance kit yesterday afternoon to put on the 383 Stroker.
Nothing insanely big (Twin 50 mm turbo's) but should make some good numbers through my built A4.

I like the kit because there aren't many mods to do to complete the install.
The engine bay will still have the factory look as the turbo's are behind the front wheel as pictured below:

Should have the work complete within the next couple of weeks.
Going to change my heads to create a larger chamber so we can crank up the boost a bit more than originally planned.

Will be entering the 9 second quarter mile club @ 150mph+ very soon. :thumbsup3:

Yes sir, I have a fully forged 383 Stroker in the car now. The turbo system should get me in the 800rwhp range. I do have to do a slight bit of head work though but that shoudln't be too bad.

Were going to play with the boost and see where we can take it somewhat safely.
My fuel system should be ok, I am in fact looking into a meth system though.

I've not heard of that company, I spend time reading the Corvette magazines and by far not a mechanic but know what advertisments I see. I would like to get something like that someday. For now just working on getting new exhaust!

They sound good. I've talked to a lot of my buddy's with 1000rwhp+ about the kit. They all love it.

Should be, thats where it will spend 70% of it's driving life. It won't be a daily driver but it will be on the road at least three days a week. (I live in Houston, it is rainy and cold for about 10 days a year, other than that, year round driving weather).

I know about Houston I lived there when I was a kid ( back in the 50's:1zhelp: ).
Thats good to hear about using the twin turbos on the street & that is a sweet looking set up ..............:patriot:

Heat should not be an issue as the turbo's and hot plumbing are not in the engine bay (behind the front tires on the other side of the fender well.)

That is a cool looking setup, you will undoubtedly have fun in that Vette!

No problem at all. A brand spanking new kit from the vendor would run you roughly $9000 once all was actual in your garage.

However, you can certainly find them cheaper than that by searching for someone who bought a kit that never pulled the trigger on installing it, etc, etc. I was lucky and found a guy selling the kit for under half of retail. :thumbsup3:

Not sure yet but it will be cheap. Leaving for Mexico today for some fun in the sun but next week I'll be able to give specifics on prices.

Will also have a complete NX Nitrous kit that also comes with 2 bottles, bottle warmer, bottle mount, assortment of jet sizes, dual spray nozzle and a window switch.

Will also have a complete set of 42lb injectors.

Probably better I start a new thread for all items for sale so I can post some pics of it all.
