Few Notes on this Water/Methanol Injection Kit:

Snow Performance has earned their name as “The Water/Methanol Injection Experts” by offering top quality injection systems that are easy to install, easy to tune, and provide the best “bang for the buck.” The idea that a water and methanol mix can be injected into almost any engine to make more power isn’t new by any means. U.S. bomber and fighter pilots of World War II depended on an “Emergency Power” water injection system to give them the upper hand over the enemy. The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) have conducted numerous in-depth studies and tests that show how effective water/methanol injection is at reducing intake air temperatures (IAT) and providing detonation control in high output gasoline engines. Snow Performance took the complexity out of water/methanol injection by combining modern technology and high quality components and creating an easy to use package for almost any vehicle.

The Snow Performance Stage 2 Boost Cooler™ system uses a progressive controller that proportionally injects more or less fluid according to an engine load indicator such as boost, vacuum, or mass air flow. Because the Boost Cooler™ systems can read a number of different inputs, it can be used on both naturally aspirated and forced induction applications. Using a progressive system gives the most accurate delivery of water/methanol and allows the most cooling and performance improvement over the widest range. More power and driveability is the result.

The Boost Cooler™ systems provides two benefits: air charge cooling and detonation control. As the highly atomized fluid is injected into the intake air charge, it starts to evaporate. To make this vaporization process happen heat energy is required to make the fluid change states. This heat is directly taken out of the air charge which provides temperature drops of 60-120°+ Fahrenheit. As IATs drop, the density of the air charge increase which supplies more molecules of oxygen for combustion. In the combustion chamber of a gasoline engine, water cannot be “ignited” per se so it has an extremely high effective octane rating. Combined with methanol, the effective increase in octane is usually 20+ points making premium octane pump gas act like 120 octane race gas. This additional detonation suppression allows for more cylinder pressure, more boost and more ignition timing, while being safer than poor quality pump gas alone.

This is my 1965 C1 Corvette that I have owned for 6 years. This car started out as a restoration project. All the numbers are matching, Motor is 365HP 327 with a 4 speed transmission. I have always wanted a Corvette and have been fond of classics. So this car was a fit for me.

Hey, I'll play!

I'll probably have at least 15 posts this month! (you're gonna get me on the whole "quality" thing I'm sure though! )

Introducing my 2002 EB Z06! She's a daily driver. I purchased her in deepest darkest dallas, and rescued her from a fate worse than death: a cowboy-fan driver!

My baby is NOT stock! I bought her with the mods already done, and there was no paperwork so she's one of those mysterious sexy ladies that you know you'd shouldn't mess with, but you just can't help yourself!

There is a full exhaust hooked up to Kooks headers. It is fairly loud compared to other vettes I've heard. I do not think it has cats, but there might be some bullet cats stuck in there somewhere. Who's gonna jack it up to check? Not I!

The CAI is a twin cone filter, and the only chrome on the car.

It has a healthy cam that rocks the car at idle. Unknown make and specs, though, which is going to make quite the adventure to mod later!

It also has an aftermarket stereo with two amps, a 10" sub in a kicker box in back, and a VR3 power capacitor that everyone mistakes for a nos bottle! :D

I'm racking up about a 1000 miles a month on my baby, and have taken her drag racing:

And autocrossed it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl_YsdoBKHI

The only things I've done to her myself so far was to send off the abs unit for repair, and an oil change. But there will be MORE...and I'll post up all my goodies and the work that goes into them right here at SMOKINVETTE!

I'm in also :D :

My name is Brian, this is my first Corvette, its a 2004 C5 Red Convertible, with black interior. The car is 100% stock except for a Hurricane CAI that I recently installed as my first mod! Being a inspiring chef, I don't make as much money as I like to so, my add on's will take a little time. I hope to add a supercharger on this next year some time. My last car was a Honda so this was a big upgrade and love hitting the California beach highway's with my girl and I. Thank you for considering me and my car.

This is my 2005 black on black 6spd Corvette. This is my second Corvette I have owned after my 2001 Z06 Blew Up on nitrous(many of you may have seen the video of the yellow Z06 at the drag strip on fire). I ordered this one new in 2005, the only option I added was the glass removable top.
My Appearance mods so far are: Tinted Windows, chrome wheels, Painted calipers, tint sprayed the taillights and side markers, custom red interior led lighting and a custom made subwoofer box.
My Performance mods do far are: Halltech Cold Air Intake, B&B Bullet Exhaust, Dyno Tune, Ram Twin Disk Clutch, and I have a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets on 16" rims for the drag strip!

My best 1/4 mile time so far was a 12.21 @115.14mph with a dyno of 358 rwhp!

I have also more recently gotten into autocross racing and road racing. I was supposed to have raced at Road America recently but due to having warranty work done on my trans I missed it. I will hopefully make it in the spring.

I am also the president of a car club in the Chicago Suburbs called ShockerRacing, so check out our clubs website at shockerracing.com to see more about my car!

This is one of my latest and favorite pics:

My name is Carter, and as a few days ago I'm a proud owner of a 2006 Z06 Silver 505HP Corvette! 6 Speed transmission and did I mentioned 505 ponies under the hood to get this moving? The car is stock and I will be looking for a few minor things (different radio with navigation). I really don't know what this Water Injection thing is! Just wanted to show off my new ride!

Mother of two, Wife to one husband and one 2001 Red C5 Convertable Corvette that is my pride. Really the only thing I have done to this car that is not factory is the window tint and air freshener! :p My husband and I have talked about adding maybe a little more power. (Recommendations from a friend with a C6). So here I am, and for the record this is the first kind of car show I have ever done!

Here is my 1987 C4 Convertible Corvette that I have owned since 2001 and have been restoring since. As previously mentioned in another post, the only thing left to restore is the interior (thats why I have no interior pics below). The car has been repainted, new top, engine rebuilt, various parts of suspension replaced with new. Oh and a new exhaust.
