.........but not new to the Corvette. I have had my 1999 C5 since I ordered new in June of 1998. I have been Drag racing it ever since.
It's first pass, in stock mode, went 13.40. Since then the "Bat out of Hell" has had three engine upgrades and many other mods. I am now in the process of programming the latest engine, a 6.9 Liter block with the new Ls-3 top end. She is bored .035 over and stroked to 4.125. The cam was designed by my friend, engine builder, and sponsor, Airflo Technologies,Inc.. She puts out over 600Hp. at the crank. She should run 10.x @12x , motor only.
