Just about had it with this and need your advice, the shifter button on my 1995 auto LT1 won't go down when its cold out? This did tis to me last winter on and off, during the summer months absolutely no problems? I have sprayed WD-40 inside it and still no luck, I have to play around with this thing for 15-20 minutes sometimes just to get it into gear? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a linkage problem Probably just needs some lubrication (hopefully) or adjustment. Unfortunately, I can't help anymore than that. I'd check with a tyranny shop for advice.

It was a linkage problem, I brought the car to local transmission shop, less than 30 minutes and $48 charge it was fixed! So happy this is fixed. :)
