:confused: Hello, My son and I are about to undertake a restoration of 1969 Covette which I had and sold to my brother (his uncle) and he in turn gave it to my son. I bought the car used and it's been over 30 years since it's bee gone. I would like to know how I can find out when the car was made. Can I run the VIN somewhere or is it stamped on the car in certain places. The reason for this is that if we need to get parts.

Im new here as well But I have been in your spot before. I wrote a letter to the company with my vin number and any other info I could find. And they set me a full spec sheet on the car/was an old truck in question. Customer service is a good place to aim your request to.
