does anyone have a carbon fiber air bridge or power couplers do these actualy do anything for your air flow?

Update to my search for an airbridge vararam now makes one well they might have made it before but i never seen it and said its a new item. Cheaper than the others out there heres a link for those of you that would want one

$329 to $99 that is a big price difference, does the Vararam need to be effective with use of the Vararam unit itself? By design they both look about the same, the first one looks like it has more "bling" to it.

it claims that it is effective with other intake systems, and i don't see why it would matter what intake you have

I had the carbon fiber & love the look of it but I send it back for some reason my hood hit it & the in side of the carbon fiber was rough not smooth at all .. I am going to order the Vararam unit to match my air in take . But this is my thought match the air bridge with the intake . The vararam air bridge wasn't out when I had the carbon fiber air bridge ...............:patriot:

yea come monday i am going to order it and the vararam velocity stack. tried to talk the wife in to a new throttle body and intake manifold but she said no. lol i guess i have spent alot on the car considering ive owned it only a month. she says i have to spread out the mods so i dont get them all at once and get bored.

no i have not yet recived it. i called in my order since it was 30.00 cheaper that way and the fella there said it was one of the first 50 to be shipper out and that it was shipping thursday or friday im hoping for it today

I called Vararam yesterday & They call me today & ask me what year mine was & then he said that he had one at his desk & that he would ship it today . I got a e-mail from UPS that it was ship today .So I'll see in a few day .......:patriot:

My air bridge came today . I fits great under the hood no rubbing & look pretty good ...........:patriot:

Funny, when I bought my Vararaam directly from the company, they SWORE that I'd be first in line for the new air bridge.
I had to find out it was finally available here.
They also said they'd give special pricing.
Nope.

While their products are good, sadly their service/support leave much to be desired.

I bought my vararam from southern car parts but the air bridge and velocity stack i got straight from them. did get it for 30 dollers off by calling them though.

Mine Vararam intake was on my car .I ordered my air bridge with $3o.oo off I also got the velocity stack. Had not drove the car yet . Stack not on now thought I would try the car with out it & then install velocity stack...............:patriot:

Well, mine's due to be shipped (Vararaam air bridge) on Tuesday, so hopefully I'll be able to put it on before I put my baby away for the winter!

How hard was it to install??

To quote a wise man aka (radio flyer) "Do not bother with the velocity stack. It goes against all conventional wisdom of areodynamics. The stack reduces the cross sectional area of your intake. According to the Bernoulli's Principle, your engine will have to work harder to get the same volume of air. As far as smoothing out turbulant Airflow, your throttle boy will do plenty of that. Go ported."

Well got in nd installed both the velocity stack and the air bridge yesterday. I can here the differnce when she revs up or i get on here but its not a neck breaking change. looks great but was a pain to insert the maf into the air bridge. all in all i like it so far cant wait to get a new manifold and throttle body

I just got mine in today Blackhorse (in the mail, not installed).

I have to say.... I wish they could have put the C5 logo on it like the original Air Bridge.

I'll probably get it installed this weekend. The good news is, it's easy to go back to original if you want to. (I have to say, the original seems to look nicer under the hood...)
