I am getting about 17 mpg being gentle to her on the highway. I have replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter, K&N air filter, and cleaned the **** out of the throttle body. The car is still a turd! How many miles on his ? cmcbunch 10-21-2008, 10:16 AM Thats a good Indication of a fuel delivery problem. Try changing o2 sensors and run a scan tool on it and look for any abnormal sensor readings. Have fuel pressure checked. Jvetter92 10-24-2008, 05:50 AM Fuel pressure is fine, and i just replaced the fuel filter. It doesn't leak and doesn't smoke, my friend's Vette has the same number of miles and WAY more balls. If the the a knock sensor has a ton of miles on it, i have heard that it can incorrectly identify detonation and retards the timeing when it doesn't need it. I would think that this could cause poor power and bad fuel economy.....What do you guys think? | |
