I just purchased an '85 C4 and need a motor in good condition to freshin' up over the winter. Any info that could be supplied would be appreciated. I live in northwest nj. Thanks.

If a motor from a 84 for will work, you may want to go to ebay, there was one I saw out of an 84 Vette a few days ago.

You find a source that has good prices on rebuilt motors let me know, I have decided to restore my 1984 Vette. I'm starting on the interior currently and may get a new rebuilt motor or have this one rebuilt which ever is better priced. Has anyone here rebuilt or restored a 1984 before? Is it worth it? I like the car and think it will make a fun project for the winter, just really don't know what I'm getting myself into. The interior alone as a bunch of things missing, and I'm having already a fun time just trying to figure out what all is missing!
