What would be the best direction to take to get that snappier acceleration? Also don't want to break the bank either!!:thumbsup3:

I've done both, with about 5-6 years seperation between the mods.

IMO; unless you're a dragstrip frequenter, the gears make for a better "all around" upgrade... to where a higher stall converter helps the launch (but not much else).

When I got my c5 it had 3.15's in it Swapped them to 3.73's cost about 1200.

Go with the gears, less worries, the converter will heat up your tranny unless you got a bad a$$ tranny cooler.
