am new to the forum and have a question about a 85 corvette that I am in the process of purchasing. The vehicle has no motor or trans, I have been approached about a 454ci motor and would like to know if it is possible to install it in this year car. What problems will I have and will a 700r4 trans work with it. Is there a TPI unit that will connect to the stock harness and will I have to reprogram the computer. Thanks for putting up with a novice owner, the only other vette I had owned was a '76 and that one was stolen years ago.
