I just bought a 1995 lt1 auto corvette. i plan on in the next years time, buying the zr1 wheels, 11inch out back, 1.6 rockers. full exhaust my state doesn't care about emissions (god bless Kentucky!!!) I just bought the slp claw (mainly for looks, lol) and a few others if i find a deal. i want to put a new converter and trans pack. eventually have a cc503 installed. but my main question was a 307 or a 331 rear end gear? im not to concerned about high speed but the occasional 1/4mile and or foot stop from a red light, what do yall think?

I just put the 3.07's in mine...but plan a fair amount of highway time with mine. I think you would appreciate the 33.1's or even the 3.54's unless you are worried about mpg and hiway travel at low rpm's.

I thank all for there input. probably the 331 sounds good now my only question would a 354 be too much for a daily driver?

:burnout: it does cut your top end you will be turning over 3000 rpm at 55mph ,and cut your gas mi;;age ,but my own personal opinion is 331 would be better daily driver gears,:thumbsup3:
Build enough HP & you can pull that gear, I have it & I can do it, can break it loose @ a lite

:iagree:
I just put 3:73's in mine. I drive it everyday. It has effected gas mileage a little, but now I can use 6th gear and it pulls great!
