Two fellow vette fanatics and I are building a racing garage along the back straight of our home track, The Autobahn, Joliet, Il.

We are constructing it to eventually house about 10 race nuts, like ourselves.

Actually, I must admit that we have a couple of buddies who are building this with us; one owns a Porsche GT3 and the other a Shelby Cobra. Other than that, they are great guys. Just kidding!

PS. Check out our members section and in particular Mike Newlander's car. He has built a non-restricted C6R. Pratt and Miller and Katech did much of the work(the guys that built the winning Leman's series car for Compuware)! Mike's car is beating sponsored 911 cups cars. It's just insane, plus Mike's an amazing driver.

I'm really excited about the project. If you check out the construction pics on our site, you can follow our progress. The roof should be on in about 2 weeks.

Is this just for you and your friends or can anyone go and use the facility when done?

5 of us are constructing and we will have 5 or 6 additional autobahn racers come in an share the cost(i.e become members). The facility will be for the 11 of us and any friends we have join us.

Essentially, it's like a condo facility race garage.
