New here with question on brake pads for my 1999 C5 take 17D731M or 17D731MHP for the front pads & the 17D732M or 17D732MHP for rear pads. These are semi-metallic pads.

Whats the difference between the M pads & the MHP pads? I have noticed that the MHP pads cost less? Any ideas how these pads compare to the OEM pads which I have noticed do cost more?

Thanks

Not sure, would recommend you go with ceramics - less noise, dust and better over all brakes.

go with the ceramics, if you do a search you will find a few threads that discuss brakes and brake pads. You can save some money going with cheaper brakes, the downside to alot of these is that they don't last as long, they squeek, and leave alot more dust behind, which makes a large cleaning mess.
