Anyone have 20's/19's rims set up on their vette? I have a 99 and I'm wondering what it would look like? If you have pics, please post! Would I have to modify in order for there not to be any rubbing, or would they be ok? Thanks.

I'm slowly learning rims and tires. I just want to make sure 20 inch rims wont look to big on a 99 vette. I want to go 19's in the back with 18's in front but most custom rims I look at are 19 and up. :banghead:

My opinion is the C5 looks the best with the stock size wheels on it. You put 20's on it you make it look foolish. Its not a 68 Impala you know.:smack:

Go to Iforged website and check out their gallery of vettes.

They have many examples of 19/20 and 18/19 combos. They all look great.
My 2 cents:
1. 19/20 looks the best. Downside is narrow sidewalls equal rougher ride, tougher ability to hook up. Larger rims are heavier, more unsprung weight.
2. 18/19: Good compromise better bling and function for street. (my street set up)
3. 18/18: hands down best choice for RR (lightest rims, widest choice racing rubber/my RR set up)
Pictured below:
Street: Iforged Aeros (19" rear, 13" wide rims with 345 Pilot Sports).
RR: CCW Corsairs (18" all around, 13" wide rear, 11" front, Hooser R6s/R compound)

20s should fit too, I've seen a few at shows throughout the years!
