I'm trying to put together a cheap set of four 18" Corvette rear wheels. All four can be 18 X 9.5, or two can be 18 X 10.5
They need to be straight and able to be balanced.
They CAN have some cosmetic challenges.
I do NOT want chipped, or bent wheels.
Road rash on the wheel lip is acceptable. Bubbling or peeling chrome is acceptable. Corrosion or discoloration is acceptable. They do not have to be chrome (but I would prefer chrome.) They can be OE or aftermarket. As long as they all match, I do not care what style they are: C5 base, C5 Z06, C6 base, C6 Z06.
These will go on a low budget hot rod, project car that will see daily interstate drives at 80 MPH and they will see autocross racing.
I can buy two or four at a time and my zip code for shipping is 72002. However, I can pickup wheels at a Little Rock terminal to save money. My target price for each wheel is $25 - $30 for non-Chrome or $40 - $50 for chrome. I may go a little more if the wheels are good looking. I may pay more if you live close enough that shipping is cheap.
I do not want to pay shipping for tires with less than half tread, or ones that are dry rotted.
I am not trying to rip anyone off or get charity. I’m just helping someone clean out their garage of a couple of old wheels they feel are not good enough to sell on ebay. And with my medical expenses, I’m just doing what I can to get one of my old cars back on the road.
PM me if you have something. Please give me a few days to respond.
Thanks,
Cody
