Hello everyone, new here and I have a 1988 C4. My issue is that I am having periodic issues when trying to start the car. Every so often and it seems like its happening more is when I try to start the car nothing happens, no clicking noise, nothing? I have replaced the positive battery cable, starter and solenoid, my battery is only 2 months old.

What gets me is when this is happening I have lights and such on inside the car?

When you try to start ,does the interior lights go dim or out while turning the key? If so you have a grounding issue with the battery.

I would look at the ground cable on the battery. When it doesn't start,can you jump start the car?If yes,does it start immediately or does it have to sit a be charged before it starts.
