:1zhelp: I have an 86 Vette and whenever I hit the 70MPH mark I can feel a light shimmy in the rear. The steering wheel is steady, but the rear has a light shimmy. At about 77MPH it eases out.:burnout: What could be the problem.

Hello
First check your wheels and tire for proper balance and make sure no fix a flat has been used(NEVER NEVER NEVER USE FIX A FLAT IN A CAN). If this all looks good check your Aluminum axle drive shafts for dents, If some one has installed u-joints and beat the crap out of the axles shafts you will get all kinds of strange harmonicas at speed.

Had the same prob about a year ago, mine would shimmy like crazy when I hit about 65 mph lucky for me all it took was a good realignment and shimmy went away maybe that simple for you too hopefully!
