I just bought a 1998 Corvette and it has a few problems one being the oil pressure gauge is always to the max even when the engine isn't running. Could this be a sensor issue or could it be something else be wrong?

It's probably your oil pressure sending umit, 98%! The bad news it's a major pain in the a$$ to replace! There is an easier way to get it in and out but requires cutting a hole in the cowl that isn't visible. I have the instructions in a Word Doc, send me your EMail and I'll send it to ya...

BTW congrats on the Vette!!!!!!!!

I'd bet its a sensor problem. Pull the wire off the sensor and see what happens then ground the wire
