Hi- I'm new here. I have a 2002 coupe with a driver door window that doesn't operate. Also, I can't control the pass window from driver side, although it works from pass side. Also, driver mirror won't work, pass can be operated. Memoty works. I have power to the module and swithches work (have continuity) I sent my LDCM to an Ebay repairer and he sent it back saying OK. Still nothing has changed. Any help with where to go next? Thanks in advance. Larry

Well Larry I would say that you need to check or get someone to check you connections for your driver doors functions. I had a problem awhile back that I could not control the passenger window from my drivers side and the shop changed out the switch thing( sorry!) in the driver door and all is well!

Check your codes...
Also a connector in the door accordian that has a ground wire in it sheathed in a too short clear cover that is notorious for shorting things out.

Thanks for the help guys. I saw in my service manual that there is a connector inside the accordian rubber from the pillar to the door, but guess what. Not on my car! I've had the boot pulled clear back and the harness runs pillar to door without a plug or connector in sight. The connectors are in the door. I've looked at this area so many times and there is just not a connector there. Any ideas? The motor for the window works. I put the window up with a spare battery and some leads to the proper connectors. Larry:1zhelp:

Can you hear the relay click in the LDCM when you hit the button for the Driver's window?
It's really sounds like your switch pack isn't working correctly, can you hear the relay click in the LDCM when you hit the window button?
I'm very suspicious why you don't have the connector in the accordian! I wonder if a Lambo hinge kit had been installed on your car previously????

That's right, when they install those lambo kits all that stuff is changed right, or taken out?

Getting some good advice here. I don't hear a click when I push the switch. Never thought about WHY there was no connector in the accordian. I bought the car a few months ago and don't have any history. I think I'll do some continuity checks in the harness. I know the LDCM has power to both terminals and the ground circuit reads to ground with a meter. The switch reads continuity when operated (through the harness to LDCM. Maybe I just have bad relay in the module. Unfortunately the module internal circuitry isn't shown anywhere. If I need to buy a new module, do you know a good source for discounted parts? So much THANKS for all the help!! Larry
