Just bought a 1997 Corvette and having problems with the battery. Found out that the passenger power seat was stuck in the forward position, was running down the battery. I was told by dealer to buy switch lube which worked fine. Now 4 months later my battery is going dead after only a day or so not driving the car. The passenger seat is still working and doesn't seem to be stuck anymore.
I have a Autolite battery in it.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like you have an electrical drain on the battery. One way to troubleshoot this would be to hookup an ammeter to the battery. Then start pulling fuses one by one and see if any noticeable change in current shows on the meter. You might be able to narrow it down to at least one circuit.Good Luck

I had the same battery problem except the lumbar and bolstors bladders were leaking and refilling when the car was parked. The dealer wanted $1200 to repair the seat so I disconnected the wires for the lumbar and bolster which still alowed the seat to move up, down, forward and back.
