:iagree: THATS THE FIRST PLACE TO START ,and second is the fuses,if all else fails go direct power to motor to see if it fires up?:(

Hello
With out the year of the car its hard to say. Early C4s(84 TO 87) have three relays bolted to the inner fender on the drives side just behind the headlight assy. One is the main relay that the head light switch opens, Then there is a left and right relay to open an close the lights. Its most likley one of these relays.
On later C4s(88 TO 96) these a head light module that does the same job. Its mounted in the same spot. Again not knowing the year its hard to say. On the early cars try switching the left and right relays and see if the problem moves to the other side, If yes its a bad relay.
On the later cars you must becareful, If a bad motor is pluged in to a new module it will burn up the first time you try it. ONE THING IF ITS A LATER MODEL DO NOT PUT DIRECT POWER TO THE MOTOR YOU WILL BE SORRY, ($300.00 OF SORRY LAST TIME I CHECKED)
Let be know the year and i can be more help.
