Have a whining sound from the stereo when I accelerate, so figure it's the ignition capacitor. Problem is, the capacitor mounted on the engine has two wires coming from it, one at either end. The wires go to a couple of connectors mounted on the distributors. However, all the replacements capacitors have only the single wire, with the housing being ground. Any thoughts?

Can you post a picture of the cap in question?

BTW: What kind of plug wires do you have on the car? Spiral-wound wires will keep most of the noise out.
