Do you have this installed? If you do, can you post pics of the install?

i happen to use one made by Tom Tom, it works pretty well! I just attach it to the dash, and away we go! Although, it's really just for looks cause you know .................men don't need directions damn it!

Try the Pioneer Avic seriers. They are pretty legit and are good stereo systems as well.

:iagree: :iagree:

If someone can not read a map/atlas, or can not change a tire, they have no busness driving a car...let 'em take public transportation...

Nav systems are for those who drive BMW's and the like...

I agree mapquest typically gets me to the right spot everytime. Have a friend who swears by the Magellan Nav system though.

Theres a sweet knight rider navigation device at radioshack. Don't remember who made it. Gonna get one of those.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Did research on all of them and ended up going with the Magellan. They sold it on Costco.com, love that cause if anything goes wrong with it they give you your money back. I figure what do I have to lose?? lol works great so far though:thumbsup3:

Wife brough me a TomTom for my birthday last week. Works pretty good except sometimes it's directions are hard to understand, like "Stay to the left in the right lane". Wtf does that mean?

I beleive in the realy old school. Look at the map, get a general direction, head out that way, enjoy the scenery of getting lost, when low on gas pull out the map again for next fill-up, take the idot working the counters advice on dirrections and head out again. Just repeat these steps till you get there and love driving the Vette.
Now if i am in another car...print out a google map and go dirrectly there.
