Has anyone experienced intermitent signal failure after turning on the signal ? My signals will work one time and the next time they don't. Sometimes if I hit abump they'll start working. Could this be a grounding problem ? If so, where is the grounding lug connecter ? I'm not sure if it could be the flasher or the signal arm mech. on the steering colume. Please help!

This is a common problem. The culprit is your flasher (the good news) unfortunately the flasher is incorporated with your hazard warning switch (the bad news). The next time the signals quit, cycle the hazard warning switch a few times and the signals will probably start working again. This fix only last a little while and eventually you have to replace the unit. The dealership will tell you that the dash pad has to be removed, but it doesnt. You can remove the center console radio bezel, remove the radio, and access the hazard switch through the radio cavity. Buy the new switch first so you can see what you need to depress to release the old one and use some probes to accomplish the job. Good luck.

good bit of info for everyone with this problem, I had to learn the hard way, but that is how you learn things sometimes!

Corvette enhancements makes a bypass harness to re-route the signal wiring so it doesn't use the hazard switch. Its worth looking into.
