Probably depends state to state. I looked into more coverage after I hit a deer a year or two back. They only covered the orignal silver paint anything custom I had to pay for same goes with aftermarket parts. If you want them to covered it will probably cost you BUT then atleast its covered... When I got my paint covered they had to come ut and take pictures of it then they corvered it for how much they thought it was worth. :hump:

it wont effect it at all UNLESS you get them to actually cover it.
