I have a 2003 C5 NOT Z06 and like how the rear brake vents look, are these possible to install on a non Z06? If so whats the process and other than a junk yard where can I find a set of these brake vents?

Cheers!

Yes you can install them on a non Z06. Its actually an easy install. The hard part is to get the nerve to cut into your rocker panel. I used a drill and a dremel tool with a cut-off wheel.I purchased mine from ebay for around $90.It didn't come with a template so I called mid america motorworks and got a template from them. The template is used for cutting the rocker panel and the inner wheel well.

Thanks for the kind words. The brakes are Brembo GTs (14" rotors, with Hawk Black pads). Great brakes for track use (rr), not really necessary for the street, but look good.

The wheels in the pic are Iforged which are street/bling wheels. For track use I use CCW Corsairs and R compound tires.

Don't own a Corvette yet, considering between a few cars and just looking around trying to make up my mind. This car is hot! I was looking at C5 Corvette, mid 90's Viper or Lotus. Looking around in this site I've seen a few corvettes that are just pushing me towards a corvette. If I end up getting a corvette I will need to hit you guys up on some tips.
