It's right by computer under pass side of dash. Take off bottom hush panel and look straight up.

Hello
The Courtesy Light Module is taped in to the main wiring harness that runs under the windshield just in front of the ECM, Part number 14080625 I think GM has Discontinued them. This is a photo that will help you find it.

Yes it was discontinued years ago. However its now finally being reproduced. The part number changed a couple times depending on year. The units on newer C4 Vettes just click off and dont dim slowly like early c4's. From what I understand it works in the C3 also with minor mods(their's is orange and a tab on the board is slightly different).
These folks sell it http://www.corvetteparts.com/details/iid/21201901.htm?ca=sand so do others occassionally on Ebay. But I've never seen it for less than $120. :hump: BTW there is a pic at above link so you know what it looks like.

Usually its just a failed diode that you can buy at Radio Shack and fix yourself if you're handy.
There is also a guy on CorvetteAction Center who can rebuild your original.
