Has Anyone Removed The Driver's Side Power Seat Track And Be Willing To Share With Me The Proper Method And Any Special Tools I May Need. The Track Has Fore And Aft But No Tilt Or Up And Down. I Can Hear The Motor Running The Drives But It Sounds Like Some Gears Are Stripped. Thanks For Any Help.

This is just a shot in the dark, but the lady thats doing my interior has been in the business for 20+ years and Im sure has had the joy of removing those seats from time to time. If you would like to give her a call, maybe she could guide you. Her name is Kim 315-863-3327. Hope this may solve your problem.

I just acquired a 91 convertible with an inoperable passenger seat. I hear the motor running, but the controls will not work. Any ideas?

Hello
I have Repaired Seat Tracks in the past. You will need to drill out the Rivets holding the two hafts of the Gear Box together, It's easy to get a part, The Problem I found is the Plastic Gears Brake or Strip and i have found no one that Sells Them. I Have Bought Every Seat Track I Could Find just for the Parts. I do have Many of the Gears Still Left, It seems that Every Seat I Fixed Would have a Different Gear Broke in it. If You try to fix Yours take a Photo of the Gear or Gears you need and I will see if I have one, I no longer try to repair them You can spend a hole day on one track, It cheaper for my customers if I sell them a reman seat track.
